About Us

We’re a crew of passionate surfers, originally from Australia, who’ve spent 10+ years teaching surfing in Australia, France, Spain and now here on the beautiful west coast of Canada. After working for other surf schools around the world, we decided it was time to do our own thing, and build a surf school in Tofino that offers the best instruction, energy, and stoke in every lesson.

In addition to local surf programs, we’ve been running skate programs in Tofino in partnership with Wickaninnish School and the District of Tofino for many years. The programs have grown every year thanks to incredible community feedback, and we’re excited to keep expanding and helping even more people have fun on boards!

Our approach is simple. keep it fun, keep it safe, and help you actually improve. Whether it’s your first wave or you’ve been riding for a while, we’re here to help you progress and enjoy every session with the best surf instructors in Tofino.

Outside the water, we’ve got a deep history in snowboard instruction too. Aaron, our founder, is an evaluator with CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) and a lifelong skateboarder. Basically, if it involves a board, we’re into it, and we’ve spent years helping others get into it too.

Aaron now lives on the West Coast with his wife Rachel, their son Zen, and daughter Mazzie. Starting this Tofino surf school has been a dream built on family, community, and a deep love for riding, and we’re stoked to share it with you.
