1. Respect for the Ocean and Beaches
Every lesson begins with awareness. We teach our students about tides, marine life, and how to minimize our footprint at Tofino’s beaches like Cox Bay and Chesterman Beach. We pick up what we bring, respect local wildlife, and encourage others to do the same.
2. Eco-Friendly Gear and Practices
We carefully choose durable, high-quality surfboards and wetsuits to reduce waste. Whenever possible, we repair, reuse, and recycle gear instead of tossing it. Our sunscreen recommendations are reef-safe, and we partner with local suppliers who share our environmental values.
3. Small Groups, Big Impact
By keeping our lessons small and personal, we limit crowding and preserve the calm, natural vibe of Tofino’s beaches. It’s better for the environment and for your surf experience.
